Despite gamers from the region kicking up the difficulty factor by a few notches, two Singaporeans still managed to come out on top for the Command & Conquer 3 Regional Championship as well as the Crysis Asia Pacific Tournament at EA Play 08.

Dennis Ooi and Tan Jeck Ann beat out competition from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Taiwan and Thailand to clinch the top spot for C&C 3 and Crysis respectively.

Besides the regional event, there were also six tournaments that were open to the public. The open tournaments drew in familiar faces from the local competitive scene, such as console gamer William "Ayane06" Ten and C&C player Myron "echo_elite" Tay. There was also a sizeable Malaysian presence who managed to clinch a number of prizes.
