The game titles for the 2008 World Cyber Games Asian Championship, as well as the inclusion of Japan and Taiwan, were announced earlier this month.

The World Cyber Games announced yesterday the official game titles for the 2008 edition of the global esport tournament. While the majority of the changes were not unexpected, there were some changes that raised eyebrows.

An official from Rapture Gaming has confirmed that the World Cyber Games 2008 Asian Championship will be held once again in Singapore. This will mark the third year that the event, attended by representatives from across Asia Pacific, will be held here.

It appears that the World Cyber Games Asian Championship will be held in Singapore for the third year running, contrary to rumours that the Asia Pacific event would be moving to either Malaysia or Thailand.

Singapore's World Cyber Games national ranking fell from 23st to 26rd, the second drop in two consecutive years, despite a five point increase from 71.10 to 76.20.
